Hi All.
It happens when using a backgroundColor "white" in style file for windows ...

<Style name="Window.mycolor">
      <StyleAttribute name="windowType" value="normal" />
      <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="white" />
      <StyleAttribute name="border" value="none" />
      <StyleAttribute name="textColor" value="black" />

A work-around consists in replacing "white" with "#ffffff" in style file ...

<Style name="Window.mycolor">
      <StyleAttribute name="windowType" value="normal" />
      <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="#ffffff" />
      <StyleAttribute name="border" value="none" />
      <StyleAttribute name="textColor" value="black" />

It seems that no other colorNames have problems ...

<Style name="Window.mycolor">
      <StyleAttribute name="windowType" value="normal" />
      <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="red" />
      <StyleAttribute name="border" value="none" />
      <StyleAttribute name="textColor" value="black" />

No program is required, just a form preview in GST 3.00.32 with GMA 1.20.11
With GST 3.00.32 or lower and GMA 1.20.09 (shipped with GST 3.00.29) all works fine.

Tested with:
Kubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Android 4.1.2 on Samsung Galaxy S2 (Arm)
Android 4.4.2 on Mediacom Tablet M-MP1S2A3G (Arm)

Same behaviour with packaged App (embedded GMA).

Can anybody (in Labs) try this ?

Best regards.

With new GMA 1.20.11 ALL window background becomes black.
No way to work around this.
When migrating a GM App from GST 3.00.29 to 3.00.32 it becomes unusable.

Anybodyelse had this problem ?

I don't know if this is the best form to learn about Genero Mobile but I'm following the video:  that has a webinar to do an application in Genero Mobile.

I have been reading the documentation too.  and try to Create Android Virtual Device and show me this:

export GSTDIR="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export GSTUSERDIR="/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048" && export PATH="/Applications/Genero Mobile Mobile Mobile Mobile Mobile Mobile" && export SHELL="/bin/bash" && export TMPDIR="/var/folders/_s/ds2hcbpx6wl70wvdthsh4_240000gn/T/" && export Apple_PubSub_Socket_Render="/private/tmp/" && export OLDPWD="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export USER="mac" && export TCL_LIBRARY="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export SSH_AUTH_SOCK="/private/tmp/" && export __CF_USER_TEXT_ENCODING="0x1F5:0x0:0x8" && export PWD="/" && export TCLLIBPATH="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export XPC_FLAGS="0x0" && export XPC_SERVICE_NAME="com.fourjs.generomobile-1.2-150048.72032" && export SHLVL="0" && export HOME="/Users/mac" && export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH="/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib/server:/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export LOGNAME="mac" && export GSTUSERSAMPLESDIR="/Users/mac/genero-mobile-files/samples" && export FGLDIR="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export FGLLDPATH="/Applications/Genero Mobile Mobile 1.2-150048/tpl/dbapp4.0/bin:/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tools/FGL 3.00.06" && export FGLRESOURCEPATH="/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tpl/dbapp4.0/styles:/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tpl/dbapp4.0/bin:/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tools/FGL 3.00.06" && export GSTSETUPDIR="/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tpl/dbapp4.0" && export FGLSOURCEPATH="/Users/mac/.FourJs/Genero Mobile 1.2-150048/tpl/dbapp4.0/src" && export DBAPP_MOBILE="1" && export JDK_HOME="/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home" && export CLASSPATH="/Users/mac/Library/Android/sdk/platforms/android-14/android.jar:/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export ANDROID_HOME="/Users/mac/Library/Android/sdk" && export GMADIR="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export GMATOOLSDIR="/Applications/Genero Mobile" && export KEYSTORE_PATH="/Users/mac/.android/debug.keystore" && export KEYSTORE_PW="android" && export KEYSTORE_KEY_ALIAS="androiduserkey" && export KEYSTORE_KEY_PW="android" && export FGL_LENGTH_SEMANTICS="CHAR" && export LANG="en_US.UTF-8" && export GSTLIBRARYDIR="/Applications/Genero Mobile" ; bash

Press enter to finish

If somebody know how can I begin to know how program apps in Genero I thank you.

Hi, we have a crash trying to open another application in an Android device.

We try to pass a JSONObject converted to string as an extra that is required by the application and this is the error we get:

FORMS statement error number -6327.
Internal error in the run time library file ../ui/RemoteUi.c(728):lexGetToken(tokenizer) == RB.

This is the json object definition:

let ftp.json = util.JSONObject.create()
call ftp.json.put("ftp_username",ftp.usuario)
call ftp.json.put("ftp_password",ftp.clave)
call ftp.json.put("ftp_pasv",TRUE)
call ftp.json.put("ftps_mode","explicit")

CALL ui.Interface.frontCall("android",
                                ["android.intent.action.VIEW", "http://ftps://xxxx:990", null, null, ftp.json.toString()],
                                [ftp.dato_salida, ftp.extras_salida]

I was able to fix the problem.
For anyone else who runs in to this problem, what we did was make a copy of the conflicted file, and then paste in back in to the same area.
After it pasted we took the "copy.CONFLICTED" out of the name and it switched over to a Genero file. It opens up and works properly.

I came in to work today to work on the app that I'm building and when I started up Genero Mobile it said that my project's form_ui.4gl file was conflicted and could not be opened in my C drive. Has anyone else run in to this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

A common mistake people make reading that section of the documentation Lionel pointed at is to just read the section related to the widget you are looking at. e.g. in the case of Buttons this section

What you should also do is make sure you read the "Common" section which applies to all widgets and containers

So you wont see backgroundColor in the Button section, you will however see it in the Common section.

As the common section applies to all widgets and containers, there are times where the blanket "Yes" should really be a Yes(*) and a note added to indicate what O/S may not support a particular feature.

If in doubt create a small example like this ...

  1. MAIN
  2.    CALL ui.Interface.loadStyles("button.4st")
  3.    OPEN WINDOW w WITH FORM "button"
  4.    MENU ""
  5.        ON ACTION red
  6.            MESSAGE "Red"
  7.        ON ACTION orange
  8.            MESSAGE "Orange"
  9.        ON ACTION green
  10.            MESSAGE "Green"
  11.    END MENU
  12. END MAIN

  2. GRID
  3. {
  4. [b01        ]
  5. [b02        ]
  6. [b03        ]
  7. }
  8. END
  9. END
  11. BUTTON b01: red, TEXT="Red", STYLE="red";
  12. BUTTON b02: orange, TEXT="Orange", STYLE="orange";
  13. BUTTON b03: green, TEXT="Green", STYLE="green";

  1. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ANSI_X3.4-1968"?>
  2. <StyleList>
  3.  <Style name="">
  4.     <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="red" />
  5.  </Style>
  6.  <Style name="">
  7.     <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="orange" />
  8.  </Style>
  9.  <Style name="">
  10.     <StyleAttribute name="backgroundColor" value="green" />
  11.  </Style>
  12. </StyleList>

... then if the program isn't doing what you expect, you can pass it your support contract, or post it here

Hope that helps,
